Getting a US visa has two halves that people tend to treat as one. The first is the paperwork and logistics: choosing the right category, completing forms, assembling documents, booking appointments, and planning travel. The second is the interview itself, a short conversation in which you have to explain who you are and why you're going.
Most applicants need help with both, and until now they've had to look for it in two different places. InterviewIvy has joined forces with Travel Kreators, a New Delhi-based visa and travel consultancy, so applicants in India can get support with the paperwork side from Travel Kreators and practice for the interview with Interviewivy.
Disclosure: Interviewivy and Travel Kreators have a referral arrangement. We earn a commission when someone books through our visa assistance page, and Travel Kreators earns one when it refers someone to Interviewivy.
What the Partnership Is
The two companies do different jobs, and the arrangement works because they don't overlap.
Travel Kreators | InterviewIvy | |
|---|---|---|
What it is | A visa and travel consultancy based in New Delhi, serving applicants across India | An AI-powered platform for mock visa interview practice |
What it does | Visa assistance, visa consultation, documentation, appointment booking support, flight bookings and travel planning | Realistic mock interviews with feedback on how your answers sound |
Destinations covered | US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and European countries including Schengen Visa | US and UK mock visa interviews |
What it does not do | It does not give legal advice | It does not handle your paperwork, bookings or travel |
It's a cross-referral partnership. If you come to Interviewivy and also want help with paperwork or planning, we can point you to Travel Kreators. If a Travel Kreators client wants to rehearse for their interview, they can point them to us. Where people want both, the two services fit together.
Travel Kreators has more than 30 years of combined experience across its team. Travel Kreators is a private company. It is not part of any government, embassy or consulate, and neither is Interviewivy.
Why We Paired Up
We built Interviewivy to help people with the part of the process we can do well: practicing the interview. We've heard the same thing from users for a while. They'd finished their mock interviews and felt prepared for the conversation, but they were stuck on everything around it. The DS-160, the document checklist, the booking process, the flights, and what to do when the rules changed halfway through their plans.
Doing that well takes a different kind of expertise. Rather than build a weaker version of it ourselves, we partnered with a team that does it every day. Neither service replaces the other. A perfectly organized file doesn't help much if the applicant freezes at the window, and a great interview doesn't help if a document is missing or a form is inconsistent.
A Recent Example
Travel Kreators recently helped the son of one of our clients secure an F-1 student visa appointment, at a time when US student visa rules and waiting times have been changing quickly. We're keeping the family anonymous, and we want to be precise about what this shows. It's an example of logistics support working. It is not a visa approval, and it isn't a promise about anyone else's appointment or outcome. If you want to see how fast the rules have moved, our roundup of US visa changes from August to October 2026 lists what's currently in force.

Do You Actually Need a Visa Consultant?
This is the question we think matters most, and the answer is not always yes. Plenty of applicants prepare well on their own, and some situations really do benefit from professional help.
Situation | A consultant is more likely to help | Practice and your own preparation may be enough |
|---|---|---|
Your case | Several family members applying, a prior refusal, gaps in your history, or a tight timeline | A first-time, straightforward application with a clear purpose |
Your documents | Unfamiliar requirements, multiple countries, or documents from different sources | A short, clear checklist you can complete yourself |
Your logistics | Flights, accommodation, and several destinations to coordinate | A single trip you can plan yourself |
Your time | Not much of it | Plenty of it |
Your main worry | "Am I missing something?" | "Will I answer well?" |
A consultant helps with process: making sure the right forms, the right documents and the right sequence are in place. Practice helps with performance: knowing how your answers sound under pressure. If your worry is mostly about the process, a consultant addresses it. If your worry is mostly about the interview, mock interviews do. Many people have both worries, which is why we've paired the two.
One boundary is worth stating plainly. Visa assistance is not legal advice, and Travel Kreators doesn't provide legal advice. If your situation raises a legal question, such as a past refusal with a complicated history, a previous immigration violation, or a question about whether you're eligible at all, talk to a licensed immigration attorney.
What No Consultant Can Do, Including This One
Because we've written about visa scams and agents elsewhere, we want this section to be consistent with that advice. The US Embassy in India has said that anyone claiming they can get you a visa outside the official process is trying to scam you, and that appointments are booked only through the official scheduling portal, as reported by WION. That holds for every consultant, ours included.
No consultant, and no platform, can:
Guarantee a visa. The decision belongs to the consular officer, at the interview.
Offer a back door to appointment dates. Appointments come from the official system. The embassy has also cancelled thousands of bookings made by bots, as we explain in US Visa Appointment Scams and Slot Bots.
Attend your interview for you. You answer the questions yourself.
Make you eligible. Eligibility depends on your own circumstances.
Tell you what to say if it isn't true. Every answer on your application is yours, and an incorrect one is your risk. Our guide to DS-160 mistakes explains why.
How to Judge Any Visa Consultant
Whether you work with Travel Kreators or someone else, a few checks apply.
They don't guarantee approval or a date
They tell you clearly what they do and don't do, including that they don't give legal advice
They give you a written description of services and fees before you pay
They never ask you to share your portal login or to include anything untrue on your forms
They accept payment through traceable, official channels, not personal accounts
They never pressure you with urgency ("the slot disappears in an hour")
They're comfortable with you keeping control of your own application
If a consultant fails any of these, walk away.
How to Get Started
There isn't one right sequence, but this is a sensible one for most applicants:
Decide where you need help. Use the table above. If it's the paperwork or logistics, a consultant may save you time.
Get your category and documents right first. For students, our guide to funding and sponsor questions explains what you'll need to be ready to explain.
Complete your DS-160 carefully, whoever helps you, and read every answer before it's submitted.
Book through the official system, and check whether you might qualify for an interview waiver (most don't).
Practice the interview with Interviewivy until your answers sound clear and natural.
You can use Interviewivy without ever using Travel Kreators, and the reverse. Neither service requires the other.
A visa application is part paperwork and part performance, and most people struggle with whichever half they're less familiar with. Partnering with Travel Kreators lets us offer the missing half without pretending we do it ourselves. The honest summary is that a consultant can make your process smoother, practice can make your interview stronger, and neither can promise a result. If you need help with documents, bookings or planning, start with the visa assistance page. If you're ready to rehearse, we're here for that. And if you only need one of the two, use only that one.
